TODAY MARKET UPDATE by NISHA

The market ended on a strong with the Nifty above 7700. The 50-share index was up 37.55 points or 0.5 percent at 7708.95. The Sensex was up 123.43 points or 0.5 percent at 25145.59. About 1509 shares have advanced, 1103 shares declined, and 120 shares are unchanged. 

Most Asian markets were trading mixed this morning. Japan'sbenchmark Nikkei was trading 1.03 per cent higher at 15,913.50. China's CSI300 fell 0.40 per cent to 3,217.

Other Asian indices, including Hong Kong's Hang Seng (up 0.17 per cent), South Korea's Kospi (up 0.26 per cent) and Taiwan's TWSE (up 0.15 per cent), were trading higher.

GAIL, Maruti, Tata Motors, Adani Ports and Hero MotoCorp were top gainers while Coal India, Tata Steel, ITC, Hindalco and HDFC Bank were losers in the Sensex.

The Domestic Market Gain Sharply

The US and Asian markets are nicely work so , the domestic market was beginning to return the profit starts at the green signal. In early trade, the Sensex, Nifty climbed 0.75 percent. The BSE 30-share Sensex index rose 160 points 24 840 level is reached.

Bank Nifty, auto, metal and reality index has climbed 1.5 per cent. Also Pharma Index has reached a level of 11 448 per cent. Metal index rose 1.25 percent, the level of 1,741. Sensex Nifty Flat Bank Nifty Profit

Good global cues in the domestic markets had gains. But beginning to show a rise of 0.25 per cent after the Sensex and Nifty have been sluggish. Sensex and Nifty are trading flat through.

The midcap and smallcap stocks looks shopping environment. Nifty Midcap 100 index rose 0.3 percent to 13 325 level is reached. BSE Smallcap Index with a gain of 0.4 per cent level reached 11 715.

Metal, pharma, banking and energy shares had the edge in the market. Nifty Metal index 1 percent, 0.5 percent and energy index Pharma Index gained 0.25 percent. IT stocks are seeing.

Nifty IT index has weakened by 0.3 per cent. Bank Nifty is looking to profit. Bank Nifty looks around 0.1 percent to 16,900.
Sensex is up 2.63 points at 25852.93 and the Nifty down 3.30 points or 0.04% at 7862.65. ICICI Bank, Tata Steel, Maruti, SBI and HDFC are losers in the Sensex. Among gainers are Vedanta, Tata Motors, Hindalco, GAIL and Lupin.

Sun Pharma Today Sensex sees cautious start, Nifty50 tests 7,650

The Sensex fell 39.08 points to 25111.27 and the Nifty declined 12.55 points to 7637.50. The broader markets marginally outperformed benchmarks. The market breadth was positive as about 1087 shares advanced against 764 declining shares on the BSE.

Sun Pharma to sell US subsidiary to Nostrum

On December 15, 2015, at 10:30 hrs Sun Pharmaceutical Industries was quoting at Rs 775.70, up Rs 7.10, or 0.92 percent. The 52-week high of the share was Rs 1200.70 and the 52-week low was Rs 706.40. The latest book value of the company is Rs 94.62 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 8.20.

Reliance Industries and Hindustan Unilever topped the buying list on Sensex, up more than 1.5 percent. ITC, Sun Pharma and ONGC gained 0.5-1 percent while ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, SBI, Wipro and BHEL fell 1-2 percent.
