Sensex rallies over 200 points; Nifty reclaims 8,300 Today Tips

BSE Sensex surged over 200 points in trade on Friday following positive trend seen in other Asian markets. The Nifty50 surged over its crucial psychological level of 8,300. NTPC and ONGC were the top gainers on the BSE benchmark, climbing 2.6 and 2.4 percent, respectively.
European stocks opened higher after the European Central Bank (ECB) signaled on Thursday its willingness to extend its bond-buying program.
